Operational Security & Access Guide

Standard operating procedures for accessing the DarkMatter Market ecosystem securely. Follow these protocols to ensure anonymity and session integrity.

01

Environment Initialization

Security begins before connection. Ensure you are operating within a sanitized environment. The Tor Browser is the only supported client for accessing DarkMatter Market .onion services.

  • Download Tor Browser from the official project source only.
  • Set Security Level to Standard or Safer (Javascript is required for Captcha).
  • Do not resize the browser window to non-standard dimensions to prevent fingerprinting.
02

PGP Verification Protocol

DarkMatter utilizes PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) for all server identity proofs. Before entering credentials, verify the signed message on the login page against the official market public key.

// COMMAND: Import Public Key

-----BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----
mQINBGT... (See /about for full key) ...
-----END PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----

Why this matters: This cryptographic signature confirms you are communicating with the authentic DarkMatter server and not a MITM (Man-In-The-Middle) attack node.

03

Secure Connection

Use only cryptographically signed mirrors. The links provided on this portal are verified hourly against the market's canary.

Account & Wallet Security

Upon registration, you will be required to set a PIN for withdrawals and generate a mnemonic seed.

  • Username: Use a random string. Do not use handles from other clearweb platforms.
  • 2FA: Enable PGP 2-Factor Authentication immediately in user settings.
  • Currency: DarkMatter operates exclusively with Monero (XMR) to ensure transaction unlinkability. Bitcoin (BTC) is not accepted for direct deposits.
